My name is Kerry Peterson, photographer for Beautiful Chaos Photography. I am a Canadian Military wife, and the mother of two beautiful young children. I love watching our two small children experience things for the first time. After my love of family comes photography. Chasing my husband and children around with my camera is a daily occurrence. I specialize in capturing military life events from maternity,  family portraits, pre-deployment boudoir, newborn sessions, pet portraits and all the in-betweens. When a loved one is away, a photograph becomes more than just an image—it becomes a cherished connection, a reminder, and a comfort.

Photographing people and telling their story through the lens of my camera is my passion. I love hearing my client's unique story, and learning what makes their relationship special. I want my clients to be completely relaxed to capture their inner beauty. I’m try to steer away from rigid, uncomfortable posing or ‘forcing moments’.

Canada is a spectacular country, and I love being able to incorporate it's beautiful outdoors in my work. Many of my clients feel awkward posing in a stuffy studio with equipment they do not understand. Where possible, I like to take my clients to a gorgeous outdoor location where they can relax and be themselves.  I’m always exploring and finding new areas and angles to give each session a unique look.

Capturing precious moments and providing timeless memories is my passion.

I am based out of beautiful Sturgeon County, Alberta but I'm happy to travel.
