Scars are beautiful

A friend and I were talking about boudoir, she mentioned she felt a little concerned about showcasing her scar, and I was surprised because I think this woman is absolutely stunning with or without a scar. So when she approached me and said she wanted to do photos to embrace that scar and the journey she has been on I was extremely excited. Because I love any type of session where a person decides to empower a difficult part of their journey. And the thing is, we all cary scars around with us, some may only be visible in an expression of our eyes, or a slouch in our posture, but they are there, and they are beautiful too.
