Through the Window

I have been planning this newborn session with this beautiful mother for months, I mean we have been planning since before Christmas. And let me tell you, it did not go as planned. 

I could never live with myself if I made new parents sick and although I am not sick and no one in my household is, you just never know what you are carrying in these times. Becoming a new parent is hard enough but I could not imaging how hard it would be with Covid-19. So we decided it was for the best if I did a through the window session. So I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried something new. I am not going to lie it definitely was a challenge. 

I showed up with my step ladder, my Apple Watch and my camera gear in the middle of the day. I was fortunate enough that the clouds were out and blocking any harsh sun making it a bit more easy than it could have been. But I still had to navigate the challenge of reflection, lighting within the home and trying to pose this couple while they were on speaker phone and I used my Apple Watch. But I think overall we were more relaxed knowing no one was sharing germs. Sweet baby boy wasn't super impressed with the changes in poses but he looked cute even when he was grumping, he did seem to treasure the snuggles with mom and dad though. Even the "first born" Thomas the pup seemed to be fond of the newest family addition.
